Thanks to the passion of its founders, whose aim is to see the spread of real Italian ice cream across the world, Leagel has become a highly successful company.
In less that fifteen years, thanks to our international outlook, we have succeeded in developing sales networks in Germany and the United States, in opening a production plant in Brazil and, through the collaboration of long-standing sector distributors, in becoming well-known across Europe.
The experience we have developed over the years means that we understand the diverse requirements of food sector legislation in individual countries, allowing us to adapt our semi-finished products to meet with all necessary regulations.
Leagel offers its clients and partners on-going technical support, direct training for comprehensive company and product integration and a support service designed to solve any problems that ice-cream makers may come up against.
Above all, our aim is to let our overseas clients in on all those secrets that have been handed down from generation to generation of Italian ice-cream makers, taking a little piece of Italy to every corner of the world.
LEAGEL AMERICA DO SUL
Leagel America do Sul is a separate production branch of “Leagel San Marino” set up to serve the American market.
Founded in 2001 by the owners of Leagel, together with a number of their Italian friends resident in Brazil for many years, the company was started up by Dr. Roberto Leardini, the son of one of the founders who, in the summer of 2001, moved to Sete Lagoas (the site of the company premises) to apply his skill and know-how to the setting up of the new production facility.
This new Italy – Brazil connection has led to Italian ice-cream becoming better-known throughout the Americas with Leagel America do Sul providing an important point of reference for the whole Brazilian market.
